The Time is Now!

People, we have completely allowed the government and politicians to take over too much of our lives. This is not what our forefather’s imagined for us. We have reached a certain pinnacle of disastrous policy thanks to the likes of the Bush Administration. The failures of this administration are appalling and we’ve done nothing about it. From a botched reaction to hurricane Katrina to an invasion of Iraq, we as citizens of this country have sat back and allowed these idiots represent us in such horrible fashion. When are you going to wake up?
Yes, I am talking to you. I’m talking to mother that has allowed this government to sell her children’s future. I’m talking to the college student that is paying social security tax even though you’ll never see it. I’m talking to the service members that obey these unlawful orders of an illegal war. You are the one that needs to stand up and be a voice. We cannot allow these crooked politicians to keep murdering our countries future for special interests and the multi-national corporations. Make no mistake about it, we are in the midst of a recession and will likely see the next depression.
There is no doubt that many people out there are feeling the heat of this economic state. This is a state directly related to the failed policies of this government and we continue allowing it to happen. To make things worse, somehow we’re now looking at three candidates from the Democrat and Republican parties that will certainly offer no change. Are we really that stupid? Think about it: 70% of us want the war in Iraq over with, but we’ve managed to elect John McCain to “lead” the Republican party. The Democrats are no better.
It’s easy to sit there and not care. Unfortunately, that’s become a societal norm. But if you don’t start looking at what’s happening, we’re all going to end up slaves to these arrogant jackasses that continue to rape us of our liberties and constitutional rights. This is not something that you can just “lay low” and wait for someone else to fix. It is something that YOU are going to have to fix. Let’s get off our asses and make a difference.
